last night

I got back from europe last night. europe is so very far away, contextualy speaking. nothing there is quite as catastrophic as it would seem in smaller countries. the mighty european earth does not shake lightly. things there move much slower. nothing is in a haste. even my flight back what detained and really, no one but the israelis waiting with me at the terminal, seemed to mind.

Our show last night was cancelled at the last moment due to the fact that our guitar player, who since the end of July, has been taking part in the fighting up north, was unable to leave his post and head home. We apologize to anyone who had come for nothing. I was there myself later that night to apologize in person to anyone who had come only to discover the Lebanon show had been cancelled. I stayed for the Evil Speakers show which was a great uplifter (that and four consecutive beers made for a very fun night afterall).

We’ve made some changes to our website (lebanonband.net), and have also updated our tour dates for america. We wish you all more peacful times then these, and we hope to see you at our re-scheduled “Last” shows on the 10th and 13th of September (in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem),
